Gianni D'Amato

Gianni D’Amato is a professor and director of the Swiss Forum of Migration and Population Studies at the University of Neuchâtel. His research focuses on migration policy and citizenship, in particular on accommodation and integration processes in their relation to nationhood, transnationalism, and irregu- lar migration. Recent research focuses on the politicization of immigration and integration processes at the local level.
