Anna Livia Friel

Anna Livia Friel is an architect and researcher. She studied at the École Nationale Superieure d’Architecture Paris La Villette and at the Iuav University in Venice, where she graduated in 2014. She completed her PhD in 2021 with a research project on the urban role of demolition, under the supervision of Paola Viganò. She has been a visiting PhD at the American University of Beirut and a research assistant at Habitat Research Center at EPFL. Since 2022, she is a visiting researcher at the “Gestaltungslehre und Entwerfen” research unit at the TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology). She is a partner of the architecture office Supervoid in Rome.
